Mark Carney Wins Liberal Leadership Race
Early polling suggests Carney holds an advantage over Pierre Poilievre, with plenty of time for the race to change again
After an overwhelming victory on Sunday, Mark Carney has been elected by party faithful to become the next Liberal leader and Prime Minister of Canada.
Carney won 86% of the vote, which outpaces the huge margin that Justin Trudeau won in the 2013 Liberal leadership race, by eight points.
